The Other Robinson's Start a Blog

Just a few weeks ago Lance & Amanda Robinson started their own family blog. So I can now say that half of the Robinson family is now blogging! To be honest Amanda is the one that helps keep me current with my blog posts so I know she will be a great blogger.
Blake and Lance are not only brother's but best friends. They really have such a special relationship. It was truly awesome to marry into a family that care so much about each other. And then just when things couldn't get better I ended up with the BEST sister in law Amanda! Amanda and I have known each other since jr high and became really close friends in high school. Amanda and I then roomed with other through the last 3 years of college right up until I got married. It really was fun to be dating brother's while being roomies!! HA She is an amazing best friend and sister in law. I love you Amanda! :) Welcome to the blogging world (I'll still need someone to help keep me current with my posts)! So check them out under "Our Friends"

I love my puppies!

Ok so I found a few more pictures of our puppies that I had to post! They were just so cute as puppies. They still are super cute but there is something about when dogs are puppies that is so sweet!

Happy 3rd Birthday

Sunday was Bunker and Bailey's 3rd birthday! We have had them since they were 1o weeks old. Brent and Dianne picked them up from the breeder in Nevada while they were on a road trip. (what great in-laws) They are brother and sister. We had picked out Bunker from a picture on the internet and when Blake's family got to the breeder they couldn't pass up Bailey. Bailey gave them her classic google eyes and so they had to take her home too. I remember the first night we got them! They were so small and sweet! My favorite memory of them from when they were puppies was when they were small enough to sit on the guys chest, which we called the shelf! The puppies would sleep there for hours!!! I can't believe that we have had them for 3 years! They have become a major part of our family and we can't image living without them! And we can't wait for our little boy to grow up with them.

This is me and Bailey, Blake and Bunker the first night we brought them home! We were living in our condo at the time.

So this is Bunker. He's the best bird dog. He picked up the hunting thing from the get go. Around the house he's the lazy one. He sometimes acts like a goof ball but he's the one that listens the best. He is one dog that is eager to please us!
So this is Bailey. She has the sweetest face, which sometimes gets her in trouble. She knows that she has the sweet face and uses it to her advantage. She will try anything twice just to make sure you aren't just joking when telling her No. She basically acts like a princess!

This was taken before their first bath.
From the beginning they love to be next to each other all the time. We still find them sleeping in the same bed at night.
Yes, they were a little bit destructive as puppies! They would get into anything they could.

Yes they even have their own stockings for Christmas!
Now they love taking baths. Well basically they love anything that involves water (pool, lake, bath).

Bunker & Bailey love their cousin Pana (Lance & Amanda's dog). Bunker and Pana could play for hours on end. Pana never wants to leave when she comes over to visit.

So what can I say! I love my puppies if you couldn't tell :)

Our Baby Boy's First Picture!

We went this week and were able to see our little boy in 4D! We had to have a higher level ultrasound to check up on our little boy to make sure he was healthily developing. Our doctor had a few concerns. And the good news was that he was developing just as he should! God is Good!!! He is a perfect baby boy! So not that I'm biased but he's pretty darn cute! I think he is taking after his dad. I really can't wait to meet him after seeing his 4D image. He was sleeping when his picture was being taken. And on a side note he weighs 4lbs 4oz, which according to this doctor he's measuring a full 2 weeks ahead of what we thought. So either he's going to be a big one or he's coming earlier than we originally thought (personally I'm hoping for that).

Nice weather in June?!?!

I got home from work to find that Blake had packed up our dinner for a picnic. Since the weather was so amazing he thought we'd enjoy a dinner outside at the Anthem park. So we drove down to the park and found a picnic table right next to one of the lakes! It was perfect! What a great hubby I have to think of doing that. We then walked around the park and checked out the large main play area. It looked liked every kids fantasy land. We can't wait to take our little boy there to play! :)

We serve a Mighty God!

As I was reading my daily devotional book this song was written in there and as I read it, what a great reminder it was to me! It just reminded me that everything we have was given to us by God. In return He wants us to surrender everything back to him and ever love and trust Him!

All to Jesus I surrender;
All to Him I freely give;
I will ever love and trust Him,
In His presence daily live.

All to Jesus I surrender;
Humbly at His feed I bow,
Wordly pleasures all forsaken;
Take me, Jesus, take me now.

All to Jesus I surrender;
Make me, Savior, wholly Thine;
Let me feel the Holy Spirit,
Truly know that Thou are mine.

All to Jesus I surrender;
Lord, I give myself to Thee;
Fill me with Thy love and power;
Let Thy blessing fall on me.

All to Jesus I surrender;
Now I feel the sacred flame.
Oh, the joy of full salvation!
Glory, glory, to His Name!

28 Weeks

28 Weeks and counting! I can't believe that in around 12 short weeks we'll be meeting our little baby. It really has gone by so fast, but yet now coming closer to the end it can't seem to go fast enough. HA Strange how that works. This week we are going to do some more painting in the nursery. We decided that we wanted to do some fun stripes around the bottom of the wall under a chair rail. So after we get that done I'll post some pictures. I'm excited to see how it comes out. In our heads it looks good so hopefully it will be once we get them on the wall. Also this week we go for another ultrasound, so when we get more pictures of our little boy I'll post them. We are excited that we get to see him so often and see his growth.

Celebrating Amanda's Birthday at the Lake

This last Saturday we went to Bartlett Lake to spend a nice day away celebrating Amanda's birthday. So Lance, Amanda, Blake and I left early in the morning to get the boat out in the water before we met some good friends out there. We'll little did we know it but we forgot the boat keys at Lance and Amanda's house! So after getting all the way to Bartlett Lake we realized that the keys were no where to be found. Thankfully our friends Tammy and Eric were able to stop and pick up the spare keys from Amanda's parents! So for the first hour and half we sat in the parking lot at the lake.

The guys (Eric, Blake, Lance)

The girls (Alison, Tammy, Amanda) and Eric

But once we got out on the lake it was a very fun day! Blake and Amanda got some good wake boarding in even though the water was pretty choppy. It was another great day out on the lake! Happy Birthday Amanda! :)
