The Yule's Start a Blog

Some of our dear friends the Yule's started a blog! Yes you heard me right! Our bible study has been trying to get Kerri to start a blog for a long time. So check out the Yule's blog. They have an amazing son named Hudson, who we all fell in love with as soon as we met him after he was born!
Bri, Kerri and I at the hospital waiting for Hudson!
Kory, Hudson & Blake right after Hudson was born!

37 Weeks Today!!!

Today I hit 37 weeks. Next week I hear is a full moon so maybe just maybe he'll come then! But in reality I probably still have a few more weeks. Am I ready? YES Am I anxious? YES Am I excited? YES And sometimes it's hard to not let these emotions take over but I'm working hard to be patient and just wait for him to come in his timing. He will be here soon enough so right now Blake and I are enjoying our time just the 2 of us.

Here's a picture at 36 weeks!

Great song lyrics!

This morning as I drove to work this David Crowder song played on my ipod and it made me pause and think. I replayed the song a few times because these lyrics really impacted me. This is my prayer:

Take my heart, I lay it down
At the feet of You who’s crowned
And take my life, I’m letting go
I lift it up, to You who’s throned

And I will worship you, Lord
Only You, Lord
And I will bow down before You
Only You, Lord

Take my fret, take my fear
All I have I’m leaving here
Be all my hopes, be all my dreams
Be all my delights, be my everything

And it’s just You and me here now
Only You and me here now

You should see the view
When it’s only You

Let The Nesting Begin!

Why did nesting have to begin this late in pregnancy? My mind is now always filled with things that need to be done around the house. I started a to do list which seems to keep growing instead of getting smaller. I've made a honey to do list for Blake that could pretty much keep him occupied 24 hours a day 7 days a week! HA So why did this all have to start when I'm eight months pregnant? I've been a cleaning mad women these past couple of days, slowly moving from room to room. But with lugging a huge belly around the house as I clean each room from top to bottom, it does a number on the body. So I'm wishing about now that this nesting phase would have hit about 3 months ago when moving and bending was a whole lot easier! HA So slowly but surly I'm crossing off each thing on my to do list. And my advice to other pregnant women, start brainstorming and doing things around the house way before you are eight months pregnant.

Work Baby Shower

I was so blessed to have the wonderful women at my work throw me a baby shower. It was so special! It was a great time of fellowship, good food and laughs. There was also a large group of people from my office that all chipped in and were able to get our stroller and car seat! I'm so grateful for that. We can now take our little boy home! HA I truly work with a great group of women!

My Baby Shower

I had my 2 awesome sister-in-laws through me the best baby shower!!!! Amanda & Jamie did an amazing job and it was perfect just the way I wanted! Thanks girls for everything. It was so good to just visit with everyone and not having to worry about opening gifts and doing those cheesy baby shower games. I'm so grateful to be surrounded by tons of people that love me and are supporting me through this pregnancy. This is such a special time and I'm so glad I got to share it with my close family and friends.

Jamie, Amanda and Dianne the Robinson ladies! Dianne, Amanda & Jamie also made all of the cookies, which were so good!

Mara has been support for me since we first became friends! I love her!

My grandma that I call Nanny! She has been praying for me since before I was born. It's so amazing to have such a women of God to look up too!
The high school girls (Sharla and Claire married 2 of the guys from high school, so they are now apart of our group)!  I'm so glad that we still have each other even after graduating 8 years ago.
My grandma Billie and Mom! It's so special to me that my grandma was able to spend this day with me! My mom also did so much for my shower, I could never thank her enough for everything she has done for me!
These girls from my bible study mean the world to me. We have all been support for each other during so many different stages in our marriages. I'm so thankful to have some of these ladies also be mom's to be there for me when I have questions to ask! God has truly blessed me with these wonderful ladies!

Maternity Pictures

What a special moment to have documented with pictures. We were able to take maternity pictures a few weeks ago. I'm so excited to have these pictures to look back on. I REALLY wanted to take pictures outdoors so yes in the 100 degree weather Blake and I took pictures outside! HA Not really the smartest but worth every second! You can't tell too much that we were sweating and hot.

No Internet

So I didn't really realize how much I relied on the Internet until I didn't have it for a whole weekend.  All I could think of all weekend was things that I wanted to do on the Internet. I had no idea how much my life and social network relied on some cord that runs into our house from who knows where's and then wireless board casts to my laptop!! Blake was working on Saturday so I planned on spending a big chunk of my day updating my blog, facebook and picasa with all new pictures of fun events that have happened in my life in these last few weeks. Yes I know that I'm sure doesn't sound like a lot of fun but when being 8 month pregnant in the summer leaves me very few other choices of things to do when its 109 degrees outside. So I resort to indoor activities such as laundry, cleaning, watching TV and putzing on the Internet and only venture outside when absolutely required. So I apologize for being such a slacker on updated my blog. I have many new things to share, so check back soon!
PS Blake was able to fix our internet last night!!! Thanks Babe! :)
